South Bay Assistant ("I," "me," "Kayla") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with me. This policy explains what data I collect, how I use it, and how it is stored and protected.

When you use this website or book a service, I may collect the following information:

  • Email address — to send booking confirmations, receipts, and respond to inquiries.
  • Phone number — to contact you about scheduling and service details.
  • Home address — to provide services at your location.
  • Service preferences and notes — to tailor the service to your needs.

How I Use Your Data

Your information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Processing and confirming bookings.
  • Communicating about appointments, scheduling changes, and follow-ups.
  • Processing payments securely through Stripe.
  • Sending transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, responses to inquiries).
  • Improving the quality of services provided.

I do not use your data for marketing or promotional emails unless you explicitly opt in.

Third-Party Services

I use the following third-party services to operate this business:

  • Stripe — for secure payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card data and is PCI-DSS compliant. I never see or store your full card number.
  • Resend — for sending transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, inquiry responses).
  • Cloudflare — for website hosting, security (Turnstile bot protection), and data storage (D1 database).

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. I encourage you to review them.

Data Storage

Booking details, contact form submissions, and related data are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. This data is kept securely and is only accessed for the purposes described above. I retain your data for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with any legal obligations.

I Do Not Sell Your Data

Your personal information is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties. Period. Your data is used solely to provide you with the services you requested and to communicate with you about those services.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies necessary for functionality, such as theme preferences. No tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies are used. Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies for bot protection purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal obligations to retain it).
